Food and Mood Workshop
Whilst our genes have remained in an environment that belongs to an era 50,000 years ago, the changes to our lifestyles, particularly over the last 50 years, have been huge. These changes affect our mental health and prevent us from leading a life that is bounding with energy and vitality.
Mood issues such as anxiety and depression are on the increase and medication may not always solve the problem. What we know now is that mental health is intrinsically linked with gut health as the two systems are completely connected.
In this talk you will learn the following:
- How your brain is your super system that regulates the rest of your body.
- What you can do to increase brain energy by how and when you eat.
- Which aspects of our diet and gut health can negatively affect our mood.
- The top three foods that can bring down our positive state of mind.
- The foods we can eat to enhance our mood.
The session will be followed by snacks and drinks as always while you meet and chat with like-minded people. Due to the personal nature of the event, privacy of our guests will be respected.
